I plan to use this page to communicate my thoughts as I go through my year as Master of the Lodge. First a short bio of me I am 40 years old ,married for 16 years, with three children and one grandson. I work as a Project Manager for an electrical contractor and attend Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Kenwood. I have been a Mason for eight years, I am currently a District Education Officer for Royal Arch and have served as High Priest for Norwood Royal Arch Chapter.

Inspection is done. I can not express the pride I felt regarding the work the Lodge Officers and all of the Members who participated on the Fellow Craft Team it, is a night I will always remember and be grateful for. Now that Inspection is complete there are several things I want to work on to finish out my year. First there is a lot of Degrees that we still need to do, all of the Officers will be moving up a Chair in the Degrees so that they can gain more experience in the operation of the Lodge, please come out and see the great work these Officers do.Secondly we will begin to contact Members who are past due, we are a Lodge of nearly a Thousand Members and like all Lodges we have our share of Members who are past due. We will begin to contact these Members to see what we can do to get them current with there dues and try to reduce the amount of Members who are unpaid for next year. We are more than happy to work with a Brother who has fallen on hard times and cannot pay his Dues but to often they do not let us know they need the help. The third thing I would like to work on to finish out my year is to create a dedicated Fellow Craft Team, my hope is that we can get at least nine people who will commit to learning all of the movements for the Fellow Craft Team and will be at our Master Mason Degrees, with a Lodge this size and many new Members who are looking for something to do I would hope this will be an easy team to assemble.
